Hi Paul:

Thomas Swift had a son, William Swift, who was born in Walton Township and baptized on March 31st 1771 at St Mary Church, Walton on the Hill Parish, Lancashire. I wonder if this is the same person as your William Swift?

Thanks, Michael Swift

Hi Michael -- I believe you must be right. I have connected him to his father's profile. Thanks for this. Paul

Hi Paul

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Unknown-344646

Mary's maiden name was Heald. I have not found a marriage record but the birth registrations of her 6 younest children all show Heald as a mother's maiden name.

Could you please amend her Last Name at Birth or add me to her Trusted List so I can make the change myself.

Thanks Steve

Paul, in Yr comment on Francis Hayley Bell, you mention a son, Edward, & omit his youngest daughter Elizabeth- my mother, so Francis was my grandfather-whom I met aged 3. My mother married Capt Martin Weedon in 1938, I was born on her 22nd b’day 28/10/40!

I have NO knowledge of Edward, nor did my Aunt Mary( later Lady Mills). I keep in touch with Francis’ grandchildren-Hayley M etc- & their offspring. I live in Whitchurch on Thames, UK, with my (Aussie) wife of almost 50 years, with 3 grown up kids & 5 grandkids 18 down to 2! Perhaps we shd communicate? Mark Weedon

Re: Heritage merge. Paul, Thanks. What an interesting datasource (the Irish Quaker records!). I will ask a couple Quaker genealogists and look further. I think it's highly probable. I'll be in touch.

Also it could be Hannah, as Ann is a derivative of the same name.

Hi Paul,

I see you are proposing a merge of two Betty Hillarys - they are definitely the same person, however I need to check Betty Hillary's birth date. I suspect 1697 is wrong!

Hi Paul, I am Benedetta Kelly and you edited the birth dates for William Kelly making him over 60 when Patrick was born. Also Patrick was a catholic. He is my great great grandfather.

Hi, I'm thrilled you have access to Irish Quaker records and am trying to keep up with the changes you're making.

I am wondering why this was deleted from Robert Zane, it looks like a valid source of research..

His baptism record in IGI for a baptism in Yarcombe Devon in the IGI. There are images of Yarcombe parish registers in Find My Past. Anyone with a subscription to Find My Past, please double check the IGI information?

Hi Paul, It would be really helpful if you would add birth and death locations for the profiles you're entering. If you don't know exactly which city, even a state or a colony, or possibly a country, is helpful. Otherwise, someone trying to figure out if they're looking at the right person may have difficulty figuring it out. Thanks! Kay Wilson, Ranger
