Biography

Kenneth was born 7 Nov 1953^[1] at Evan­gelical Com­munity Hospital in Lewis­burg, Penn­syl­vania. He is the son of the late Richard Eugene Nellis and Elizabeth “Barbara” Squires.^[1] He lived in Center Town­ship, Snyder Co., Penn­syl­vania, from birth through 1971. He lived on- and off-campus in State College, Penn­syl­vania, while going to Penn State Uni­ver­sity from 1971 to 1975, where he earned a B.S. in com­puter science. He moved to Wash­ing­ton, D.C., in 1975, where he began a 43-year career in soft­ware devel­op­ment until retiring in 2018. He married his beloved Nancy, whom he met in Washington. They married in her home town of Erie, Penn­syl­vania, in 1986. As of this profile’s last update by him, Kenneth is still living, if you can believe it!
