Marguerite Naud was born and baptized on 23 Nov 1813 in Saint-Charles parish in Bellechasse, Bas-Canada. She was the daughter of Joseph Labrie, farmer, and Marguerite Bisson. Sponsors at the infant Marguerite's baptism were Joseph Bisson and Marie Genevieve Lavallée; neither sponsor signed the register.
At age 19 Marguerite married Antoine Gonthier on 15 Jan 1833 in Saint-Charles parish in Bellechasse. The couple received a dispensation for the fourth degree of consanguinity. There were five known children born into this marriage.
Marguerite Labrie died at age 72 on 25 May 1885 in Saint-Charles, Bellechasse; she was buried two days later on 27 May in Saint-Charles parish cemetery.
