Biography
Marguerite Bisson was born on 2 May 1792 and was baptized the next day in Saint-Charles parish in Bellechasse, Bas-Canada. She was the daughter of Joseph Bisson and his wife Marie Terrien. Sponsors at Marguerite's baptism were Louis Pepin and Marguerite Terrien; neither sponsor signed the register.
At age 20 Marguerite married Joseph Labrie on 1 Sep 1812 in Saint-Charles parish in Bellechasse. There were five known children born into this marriage.
Marguerite Bisson died at age 78 on 7 Oct 1870 in Saint-Charles parish in Bellechasse, Québec, Canada; she was buried three days later on 10 Oct in Saint-Charles parish cemetery.
