Biography

Paul was the son of René Nau and Catherine Abel. He was born 24 Oct 1740 and baptized the same day in Deschambault. His godparents were Paul Perot and Marie Houde, no signatures. ^[1]

On 25 Jan 1773, in Neuville, Paul No son of René No and Marie Catherine Abel married Marie Josephe Denis daughter of François Denis and the late Marie Josephe Lafontaine. Witnesses were both fathers and the groom's brother René No as well as the bride's grandfather François Lafontaine. The bride signs along with two witnesses. ^[2]

Paul Naud, 92 year old widower of Josephte Denis, died 2 Jan 1830. He was buried 2 days later in Deschambault cemetery. ^[3]
