Harriet Moss, daughter of Frederick Moss and Barbara (Berry) Moss, was born about 1818 in South Carolina, USA.[1]
She married George Washington Treadaway, son of William and Dorcas (Cox) Treadaway, she was identified as Harriet Treda?y in her fathers will,[1] on 7 Nov. 1836 in Pendleton County, South Carolina.[2]
She and George appeared on the census of 23 Oct. 1850 at Pickens County, South Carolina. They were living next to Osborn and Jency (Moss) Cleveland, brother-in-law and sister of Harriet.[3] George died before 1860 and she appeared on the census of 13 June 1860 with her children at Anderson County, South Carolina.[4] She appeared on the census of 14 July 1870 at Tippah County, Mississippi.[5] She appeared on the census of 7 June 1880 in the home of her son, probably Newton the record is not clear, at Union County, Mississippi.[6]
