Biography

Newton Frederick Moss, son of Frederick Moss and Catherine Berry, was born in Dec. 1830 in Pickens County, South Carolina, USA.[1]

He married Catherine E. Tyler, daughter of Reuben Tyler and Annie Earp,[1] on 3 June 1852 in South Carolina.[2]

He and Catherine appeared on the census of 28 June 1900 in the home of their son at Myrtle, Union County, Mississippi.[3]

Newton died in 1902 and was buried at Gerizim Cemetery, Myrtle, Union County, Mississippi. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and links to those of family members.[1]
