Biography
- Alice was born in 1592 -- the second daughter of Anthonie MOSLEY and Alice WEBSTER Mosley -- almost certainly at The Milngate, Manchester, Lancashire, England,
- She was baptized on January 1, 1592 (Julian calendar) at the Collegiate Church of St. Mary, St. Denys and St. George, Manchester, Lancashire, England; under the heading "Christenings in Januarie 1592" the baptismal record reads "1 Alice daughter to Anthonie Mosley" (see also "Mosley Memoranda", p. 15).
- At some time in 1611 she married John CUDWORTH (probably at St Mary's, Oldham, Lancashire, England, but no record has been identified to date); this John CUDWORTH was Alice's step-brother (the son of Alice's stepfather, also John CUDWORTH, and his first wife Alice HOPWOOD); the marriage license was dated September 4, 1611 (see "Mosley Memoranda", p. 15).
- Alice passed away in (we believe) Oldham, Cheshire, England, between 1674 and 1683; her will was dated April 2, 1674, and was proved at Chester, Cheshire, on September 7, 1683 (see "Mosley Memoranda", p. 15).
