Sir Edward Mosley, 2nd Bt. was baptised at St James Didsbury 3 Apr 1638[1]. He was the son of Sir Edward Mosley, 1st Bt. and Mary Cutler.
Edward matriculated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, 28 Mar 1655[2].
1657 - Inherited the Baronetcy upon the death of his father.[3]
1660 - Sheriff of Lancaster, 1661-1665: MP for St Michael Cornwall[4]
1661 - Purchased Hulme Estate from the Prestwich family.[5]
1662 - Nominated a deputy lieutenant by the Earl of Derby but the King did not approve the appointment[6].
Marriage: to Katherine Grey, daughter of William Grey, 1st Baron Grey of Warke, Northumberland, c1665
Died died on 14 October 1665 and was buried at St James Didsbury[7]: Sir Edward Mosley Barronet who was lord of hough and manchester died the 14 day and was buryed the 21
