Biographie
Émérencienne Morin est née et a été baptisée le 6 novembre 1837 à Saint-Vallier, Bas-Canada, fille de Vital Morin et d'Emerencienne Théberge. Elle a été baptisée le jour même à Saint-François-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, ayant pour parrain Germain Morin et pour marraine Elizabeth Laflamme.[1]
Émérentienne (20) a épousé Georges Tanguay (20) le 13 avril 1858 à Saint-François-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Canada-Est. [2]Leurs enfants connus sont:
- Marie Eugénie Tanguay (1863–1917).
Émérence est décédée le 22 janvier 1875 et a été inhumée trois jours plus tard à Saint-Vallier, Québec, Canada.[3]
