Marie Joseph Morin was born on 11 Jul 1725 and was baptized on 12 Jul 1725 at Sainte-Trinité de Contrecoeur, Canada, Nouvelle-France.[1][2][3] She was the daughter of Pierre Morin and Marie Joseph Donay.

Marriage
Louis Villier and Marie Madeleine Morin were married on 22 Aug 1746 at Sainte-Anne de Detroit, Les-Pays-d'en-Haut, Nouvelle-France.[4][5][6] It seems the priest mistook her mother's proper first name for hers.
