Biography
He was baptized about 1645 in Llandudno, Caernarvonshire, Wales and his parents were Jane (Evans) and James Morgan, Sr. (1620-1691).
James Morgan, Jr. married about 1672 in Wales to Sarah Rhys (1652-1729).
In 1691 their family emigrated, along with his parents and several of his adult siblings, from Wales aboard the ship, "The Morning Star" to North America.
James died in New Delaware, Pennsylvania.
DNA
A search at familytreedna.com lists a number of kits matching descendants of James Morgan. They are "Group 33" at FTDNA "Morgan" project. Most of this group are tracing to this James (1645-1691). Country of origin is Wales.
The profile for his father James SR who married Jane Evans states that they had a son named "John".
