Junius was the son of Joseph Morgan III and Sally (Spencer) Morgan.[1]

Junius married on 02 MAY 1836 Hartford, Connecticut (The Barbour Collection) He was of Hartford, Conn., but later associated with the Banking-house of Peabody & Morgan of London, England, where he resided many years.
