Her Death in Unionville Yesterday.
Mrs. Mary Morgan Smith widow of the late Rev. James Allwood Smith, died at her home in Unionville yesterday afternoon. Her death was unexpected and her serious illness was mentioned in ÒThe CourantÓ a few days ago. Mrs. Smith would have been 89 years old next month. She was the sister of the late Julius S. Morgan of London, the famous banker, who was the father of J. Pierpoint Morgan of New York, and she was also the sister of the late Mrs.James Goodwin of this city, who was the mother of James J. and Francis Goodwin. Mrs. SmithÕs children are all dead. James A. Smith, Jr., of this city and Mrs. S. C. Porter of Farmington having died within a comparatively shorttime. Mrs. SmithÕs funeral will be at 2 oÕclock on Saturday afternoon.
