Pittsburg, PA and 5 children were born,all of whom died prior to the

death of their father. One is buried in Ohio and four in Mt. Vernon,

Ill. Mary Goetschius, his 2nd wife living when George died after his

jewelry store was robbed. (the precededing abstracted from newpaper

obit)

Was 89? yrs old when he died at home at 228 South Washington at 7 am.

Buried in Oakwood cemetery. Mt Vernon, IL
