There are a surprising number of Octavius Morgans
- The Octavius Morgan who was born 10 March 1903 was married to Blodwen, with children in the 1939 register, and died in 1969. His family have photos of him on ancestry.com
- The Octavius Morgan was was born 12 March 1904 was married to Gladwys, with children in the 1939 register - he is not listed in the GRO records.
The connection between Octavius Morgan (30 Dec 1902 - 1982) and the Octavius Morgan who married Marjorie Hitchens in 1945 is based mainly on the fact they both died in Pontypridd (one of two Octavius's who did, with the other accounted for). The fact they were both born 30 Dec with Marjorie one year younger had no influence on this educated guess.
