Frederick Morgan was born at Sydney, Colony of New South Wales on the 20th of June 1837, the eldest of four sons, of Sydney tailor, Frederick Augustus Morgan and Emma Martha Woodward.[1]
According to the Australian Dictionary Of Biography [2]
Frederick was part of the exploration party which discovered the Mount Morgan Mine.
Frederick Morgan passed away at Rockhampton, Colony of Queensland on the 8th of November 1894.[3]
