Biography
When James Oda Morgan was born on April 26, 1927, in Franklinton, Louisiana, his father, Paul, was 32 and his mother, Mary, was 31.[1] He served in the US Navy for about one year,[2] enlisting on June 6, 1945;[3] he married Lena Josephine Martin (1892–1988) sometime after 1940 and eventually they both retired from the railroad industry.[4] He died on January 27, 1990,[5] in Texas at the age of 62, and was buried in Parkville, Missouri.[6]
