Biography
- Charles Morgan was born on 4 June 1799 in Rivesville, Monongalia County, Virginia, the second of twelve children, and the second of six sons of Stephen and Sarah Sommerville Morgan.
- On 12 May 1833, when he was thirty-three he married Alcinda Gibbs Moss in Monongalia County.
- On 15 February 1859, when he was fifty-nine, he died in Richmond, Virginia, of unknown causes.
