Biography

Sarah (Morgan) Grime was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)

Sarah Jane Morgan was born at Young, Colony of New South Wales, in 1868, the daughter of Edward Morgan and Bridget Casey.[1]

Sarah Morgan married John Marsden Grime at Burrowa, Colony of New South Wales on the 5th of March 1888.[2]

They had:

  1. Edward, b 1888, Sydney.
  2. Hazelgrave, b 1890, Taree.
  3. Fannie, b 1891, Young.
  4. Sarah, b 1892, Young.
  5. Violet, b 1894, Young.
  6. Leila, b 1897, Young.
  7. Ethel, b 1899, Young.
  8. Billy


Sarah Grime passed away at Canterbury, New South Wales, Australia in 1934.[3]

Research Notes

  • James Huckel, according to Glenda Dykes, always spoke of his cousin Billy Grime, fighter,boxer..I have established that they were 2nd cousins through their mother's Casey connection. Sarah Grime was the daughter of Bridget Morgan and Mary Harcombe was the daughter of Catherine Harcombe, and they were sisters.
