Biography

David Morgan was born in 1804 in Monongalia County, Virginia,^[1][2] the youngest of three known children and the younger of two sons of Levi and Martha Unknown Morgan. His father had two children, a son and a daughter, by a second marriage.

Alternate year of birth: 1811. (no source).

On 20 March 1832, when he was in his late twenties, David married Martha Bunch in Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana.^[3] She bore him five known children, two sons and three daughters,^[4] including a son whom they named Levi.

In 1882, when he was in his later seventies, David died in Sonora, Larue County, Kentucky,^[5] of unknown causes.
