Biography

When Elmira Morgan was born on September 29, 1839 in Washington, Indiana. Her father, Thomas Albert Morgan, was 34, and her mother, Harriett H Buckman, was 31. She married William Henry Harrison Austin (1834–1909) on July 3, 1856, Washington, Indiana. They had eight children in 15 years. She died on May 29, 1920, in Lexington, Indiana, having lived a long life of 80 years, and was buried there.
