Hi Elisa,

We haven’t heard back from you concerning the Scottish Clans Transition. If we haven’t received a response from you by 28 March 2020, you will be welcome to rejoin by answering the current g2g thread for joining the Scotland Project.

Best Regards,

Hello Elisa,

My name is Sarah and I’m the Project Coordinator for the Scotland Project. As you may have heard, we have merged the Scottish Clans project into the Scotland Project. I am contacting you today to find out if you are interested in continuing with us under this new format. If you would like to go forward on the Scottish Clans Team, please reply and let me know which clans you have been working on or would like to work on. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,

Sarah Mason, Scotland PC

Hi Elisa!

I’m Karen, the leader of the Puerto Rican Roots Project. We are contacting all existing members of the project to find out how you would like to be involved moving forward. I'd love to hear what excites you about researching folks connected to Puerto Rico, and how the revitalization of the project might inspire you in 2018. Have a look at the Puerto Rican Roots Project page, and let me know what you’d like to do or if you have any questions. We can list your interests, help you join the Google Groups forum for Puerto Rico, and give you any help you might need. If we don’t hear back from you we’ll assume you no longer want to be a part of the Puerto Rican Roots Project at this time.

Many thanks! I look forward to hearing from you.

I saw your post on G2G and I wanted to say hello. It's not often that I encounter someone who has the same first name :-)

Hi, I am Dorothy, a WikiTree mentor!! Are you enjoying your time on WikiTree so far?

Now that you have had a little time to try our site, there are a few more features you may find useful:

For instance, ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards; including some tips on writing biographies

Also a friendly reminder about adding sources and references to your profile. Sources are critically important for genealogy and you will be helping future genealogists by listing where the information you've added came from. This page describes different kinds of sources: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Sources

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Hi. There's always a possibility that our Morgan's are related somewhere in the past, but my general feeling is that New England families were not related to families who were settled in the southern states. Good luck tracing those ancestors a few more generations

I’m so glad you Volunteered!

You are now a confirmed member of WikiTree .

WikiTree members are always happy to offer guidance if you have questions so if you need to ask for help. And our Mentors Project has a very friendly bunch of volunteers happy to help with WikiTree-specific issues. And Please check out our question of the week: Do you ever go back over a family to double check and look for new sources?

Have fun and see you in the branches!

Hi again, and thanks for the note. Once you add tags & volunteer, that lets the greeters know you want to join & someone will confirm your account (I'm headed offline, but I'll check back with you later this evening).

Cheers, Liz

Hi Elisa,

Welcome to WikiTree! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site you’ve ever used.

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!

Once you volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way!

Welcome to the family! We’re really glad you’re here.
