The Cabool Enterprise Feb. 13, 1941 Weeden S. Morgan was born September 22, 1860 in Owen county, Kentucky, Died February 10, 1941 at the home in Tyrone, Mo. He was married at the age of 22 to Missie Grant Odor. To this union 12 children were born. Three died in infancy, One daughter, Mrs. Pearl Hillard died in 1936. His wife died in 1905. He was married later to Anna Gibson of Tyrone and to this union was born one daughter, Naomi. He is survived by the wife, and daughter Naomi of the home, Walter Morgan and Sallie Morgan of Emigrant, Mont., Walker, Buford and Hubert Morgan and Mrs. Lue Ella King of Pittsburg, Kansas, Main Morgan of Glens Ferry, Idaho and Mrs. Callie Forbes of Joplin, Mo., a brother Tom Morgan, also lives in Glens Ferry, Idaho; twenty-two grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was converted early in life and for many years took an active part in church work being associated with the Church of God of Tyrone. Funeral was conducted Wednesday afternoon at Tyrone by Rev. N.E. Snyder, pastor of Tyrone Baptist church. Interment followed in Tyrone cemetery under direction of Elliott Funeral Home. [contributor #48248832]
