Birth

Daniel age stated as 7 years in the 1891 census of England and Wales so born about 1884 in birth town transcribed as Liddiard Plain Wiltshire England,family connections give his birth place as Swindon which is quite near Liddiard Plain as they where a travelling family hard to be exact.

Baptism

From another family site it is reported Daniel was baptised 14 OCT 1883 in St Peters, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England, however at this time no ref found for this.

1891 Census of England and Wales

In 1891 Daniel age stated as 7 years living with family in tents at the Little Field,Liddiard Plain,Lyneham,Wiltshire,England [1]

Note

After 1891 no census records found for Daniel or his family until his marriage in 1919, this was his second marriage.On marriage certificate states he was a Coal Miner.

Daniel married Fanny Bevis Matthews in Jun 1906 in Cheltenham [3]

1939 Census of England and Wales

In 1939 Daniel living with family in Blackmill Glamorganshire Wales.

Note

It is firmly believed that Daniel in his young days served time in jail for various minor offences though no definite proof found.

Death

From family connections Daniel was knocked down and killed by a train in Blackmill Wales in 1957,buried at Ogmore Cemetery Wales with Wife Edith.
