Biography
Elsie Veronica Morgan was born in 1887. She was the daughter of John Henry Morgan and Christine Maude McHardy.
She married John "Jack" Minchin (the son of John Minchin and Louisa Watkins) on 15 September 1919 in Christchurch, New Zealand.
They had two children.
In the 1946 New Zealand, Electoral Rolls (1853-2010), Elsie Veronica Minchin was recorded living at Gilletta Road, Mt Roskill, Auckland with her husband John Minchin, a Farmer. Also in the household was their only son John Chaytor Minchin, employed as a Plasterer.
Her husband Jack passed away on 19 June 1954 at the age of 68.
In the 1966 New Zealand, Electoral Rolls (1853-2010), Elsie Veronica Minchin was recorded living with her son John Chaytor Minchin, a Plasterer, at 231a Valley Road, Mount Maunganui in the Bay of Plenty.
She passed away on 3 August 1969 at the age of 82, and was buried with her late husband on 5 August 1969 at Waikumete Cemetery & Crematorium, Glen Eden, Auckland Council, Auckland, New Zealand[1][2]. PLOT: Protestant Lawn A, Row 13, Plot 1
