Doris was born in 1933.

On 13 November 1952 Doris married Paul Allen Doane.^[3]

Doris was a member of the Beechtree Union Church.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening, refinishing furniture, canning and reading.

She passed away in 2024 at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, Clearfield, Pennsylvania, USA. Funeral arrangements were by the Shugarts Funeral Home in Brockway, Jefferson, Pennsylvania, USA, where a private service was held with the Rev. Terry Felt officiating. Interment was in Beechwoods Cemetery. Memorial donations were requested to go to the Beechtree Union Church.
