Biography

Paul^[1][2] was born in 1931. He was the son of Jay Doane and Nettie Morris.^[3][4][5]

In 1940 he was living on Route 830 in Washington Township, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, USA with his parents and six siblings. This is the same home they were living in five years ago. He is attending school and has completed the third grade.^[6]

On 20 September 1942, at the time of his father's death, he was living at home in Rockdale, Washington Township, Jefferson, Pennsylvania.^[7]

In August 1944, at the time of his brother Miles' death, he was living in Falls Creek, Pennsylvania.^[8]

On 16 July 1948, at the re-interment of his brother Miles, he was living at home in Falls Creek, Pennsylvania.^[9]

In 1950 he was living going south of T588 to the connection with Pa 830 in Washington Township, Jefferson, Pennsylvania, USA with his widowed mother and two brothers. He worked 40 hours a week as a laborer at Ritter's Garage.^[10]

On 13 November 1952 Paul married Doris Louise Miller.^[3] They were married by Rev. F. Benton Shoemaker, in the Shoemaker home.^{[11][12][5][13]}

On 9 December 1952 he was inducted into the Armed Forces, during the Korean Conflict.^[14][5]

On 9 November 1972, at the time of his mother's death, he was living in Falls Creek, Pennsylvania.^[15]

On 30 December 1991, at the time of his brother Hiram's death he was living in Falls Creek, Pennsylvania.^[16]

On 9 December 2007, at the time of his brother, Bill's death, he was living in Falls Creek, Pennsylvania.^[17]

On 23 December 2010 at the time of his brother Lew's death, he was living in Falls Creek, Pennsylvania.^[18]

Paul retired from the John T. Larkin Co. in DuBois, Pennsylvania after 25 years of service.^[5]

He was a member of the Beechtree Union Church.

In his younger years, Paul enjoyed working on cars and riding motorcycles. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife and family.^[5]

He passed away in 2019^[13] at Penn Highlands DuBois in DuBois, Clearfield, Pennsylvania, USA. Funeral services were held at Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home in Brockway, Jefferson, Pennsylvania, USA by Rev. Terry Felt. Interment was in Beechwoods Cemetery in Falls Creek, Pennsylvania. Memorial donations were requested to go to Beechtree Union Church.^[4][5]
