Disputed Heritage
This is not the daughter of John Meador and Mary Awbrey. Parents are unknown at this time, she only exists in some records on Ancestry.com at this point.
In his book, Dr. Billy Glen Foster[1] made the reference that Elizabeth's last name was probably Meador, as she and Thomas had a son with the middle name of Meador. No record of their marriage or proof of her last name has been found. He makes no assumption about her parents. There are many, many trees on many websites that have used Dr. Foster's assumption as fact.
As we see her last name seems to come and go over the years. No hard facts ever. But documents show her name was Elizabeth, she and Dr. Thomas Foster had 8 children. Her children were born in Essex and Caroline counties in Virginia.

Hi Robin, I didn't remove parents but did remove spouse. The parents according to the will of John Meador, had a daughter named Elizabeth. From researching it looks as if Mother might have died in childbirth as I found Elizabeth born same year has mother's death. There are still many duplicate children on this and other profiles, I will help merge and clean up all I can.

Please take a look at the write up on the "heritage" of this person. I suggest we remove the parents, as, we know from their profiles and the sources provided that this is not their daughter. The Elizabeth that was the daughter of John Meador and Elizabeth White married a man with the last name of Armstrong, plus the Mother died before this Elizabeth was born.
