Biography

Edmond B. McQueen was born in Kentucky [1]about 1794 to father, Joshua McQueen (1746-abt.1853) and mother, Margaret Elizabeth (Baxter) McQueen (abt.1774-abt.1810).

He married Margaret (Cornelison) McQueen (abt.1787-1829) on September 23, 1815.[2] After marrying his wife, the couple moved to Missouri. The 1850 census lists all of his children as having been born in Missouri.

Edmond and Margaret had the following children together:

  1. John McQueen
  2. Margaret Ann (McQueen) Baldwin (1832-1885)
  3. James McQueen
  4. Thomas McQueen
  5. Licurgus McQueen
  6. Leonidas McQueen (same age as Licurgus, so they may be twins)
  7. Edmond McQueen

He passed away in June of 1870, in Boone County, Missouri.[3]

I too have sent a message to the profile manager. I do not believe the profile she created for Edmond B. McQueen's wife is the correct Margaret Cornelison. Her birth date does not match up to the 1850 and 1860 census data, and neither do the children's names. Edmond is the brother to my 3rd great grandfather James Berry McQueen.
