Donald McMurchy is buried in Kilcolmkill Chapel Churchyard.

Donald was born in 1788. He was the son of Donald McMurchy and Barbara McMillan. ^[1]

He married Ann “Nancy” Kelly in 1816. ^[2]

They had the following children:

1. Archibald McMurchy 1817 - 1897
2. Donald McMurchy 1818 - 1893
3. Alexander McMurchy b. 1820
4. Catherine (Cameron) 1822-1893

Annie died before 1833 when he married Isabella Mc Neil. ^[3]

They had the following children:

1. Agnes McMurchy 1834-1910
2. Barbara McMurchy 1836-1919

Donald died in 1836.
