George Mason (32) is on the 1871 census with wife Eunice (28) and their children; Alice (8), Emma (6), Calvin (4), George (3), and Stella (7 mos).[1]
By 1881 Calvin Mason (14) is on the census with his aunt and her husband. William Young (45) and wife Eliza (41)[2], and George Mason (12) a is with Ephraim Mason (38) and wife Sarah (34) another aunt. Perhaps indicating both parents are deceased.[3]
