Annie Thomas Mason was born to Francis Ennett Mason and Caroline Elizabeth Garner on 20 Sep 1886 in North Carolina.[1][2]

She married Warren L[3] Lockey on 29 Jan 1908 in Newport, Carteret County, North Carolina[4][5][6] and the couple had the following known children:

  1. Madge Inez Lockey was born 11 Dec 1908 in Carteret County, North Carolina, died 25 Jan 1990 in Oxford, Granville County, North Carolina and was buried in Elmwood Cemetery.[7][8][9][5][6]
  2. Ingram / Ingrume Van Lockey was born about 1912 in North Carolina.[6]
  3. Gordon M Lockey was born in North Carolina about 1915.[6]
  4. Bernice Mae / May Lockey was born 25 Sep 1917 in Carteret County, North Carolina.[10][6]
  5. Janice Caroline Lockey was born in Carteret County, North Carolina on 05 Jul 1923, died 07 Nov 1993 in Morehead City, Carteret County, North Carolina and was buried in Straits UMC Cemetery.[11][6]

The second paragraph in the DNA section is exactly what is required.

You're welcome to leave the other two paragraphs, if you find them helpful, but they just seem confusing to me.

Please note that what you appear to be referring to as 'confirmed autosomal DNA that is auto-populated' is not that AT ALL! WikiTree's intent in adding that language to the DNA connections section of a profile is just to alert you to the fact that people who appear to be related to the profiled person have taken various DNA tests and that you MAY be able to compare matching tests at Ancestry, GEDMatch, 23andMe, etc to see if the two matching test takers DO ACTUALLY share DNA. WikiTree does NOT do any evaluation of whether DNA tests are matching. Remember, no one has ever uploaded their DNA to WikiTree; we've just indicated which DNA tests we've taken. WikiTree is not telling you that you ACTUALLY share DNA with Annie, or with any of her descendants, just that you MAY share DNA with them. Please re-read the beginning of the statement: "It MAY be possible to confirm family relationships...." If you don't understand this important concept, please let me know. Thanks!

It seems that the statement about MCX, as shown on Madge Inez Lockey (1908-1990) and Madge's brother Gordon, should belong on this profile, too, but the DNA Confirmation Citation Maker app doesn't list that as a confirmation.

That statement does not belong on this profile--the Citation Maker is correct. Annie is one of the MRCAs in that statement. Matching DNA tests can only be used to confirm BACK TO the Most Recent Common Ancestors (MRCAs) of the two matching test takers, but not to parents/other more distant ancestors of the MRCAs.
