Warren Lockey was born in North Carolina.

Warren L Lockey was born in Havelock,[1] Craven County,[2] North Carolina 22 May 1887 to John Lockey and Susan P[3] (Godwin) Lockey.[4]

On 05 Jun 1917 he registered for the draft and at that time he was described as being tall, of medium build with blue eyes, light hair and missing three toes from his left foot.[2]

He married Annie Thomas Mason on 29 Jan 1908 in Newport, Carteret County, North Carolina[5][6][7] and the couple had the following known children:

  1. Madge Inez Lockey was born 11 Dec 1908 in Carteret County, North Carolina, died 25 Jan 1990 in Oxford, Granville County, North Carolina and was buried in Elmwood Cemetery.[8][9][10][6][7]
  2. Ingram Ingrum Van Lockey was born about 1912 in North Carolina.[7]
  3. Gordon Mason Lockey was born in North Carolina about 1915.[7]
  4. Bernice May Lockey was born 25 Sep 1917 in Carteret County, North Carolina.[11][7]
  5. Janice Caroline Lockey[12] was born in Carteret County, North Carolina on 05 Jul 1923, died 07 Nov 1993 in Morehead City, Carteret County, North Carolina and was buried in Straits UMC Cemetery.[13][7]
  6. Clarence Burton "Buster" Lockey[12] was born 21 Sep 1930 in Carteret County, North Carolina.[14]

Warren died 31 Mar 1969 in Goldsboro, Wayne County, North Carolina and was buried in Amariah Garner Cemetery.[4]
