Hello - the only edits I've made for Edward was to add a Quaker sticker. The profile managers would likely be the best people to address a conflation issue with. Thanks!
Thanks for having a Big Heart and taking responsibility for Orphaned Profiles. You will want to read this After Adopting Orphans as it explains the special attention adopted profiles will sometimes need from their profile managers.
You might want to take a look at Editing Tips. It is recommended that the Horizontal Rule is used sparingly. You might find that just leaving a blank line results in a biography that is just as readable, and easier to enter. In some cases, you might want to use 3rd level headings (i.e., Subheadings). Also, sources listed under the = Sources = <references /> headings should be a bulleted list.
Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
Thank you for joining us! I wanted to check in with you to see how things are going. How do you like WikiTree so far? Have the tips in the New Member How To Pages been helpful or have they left you with questions?

P.S. To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.
I see that you have had your DNA tested, congratulations! Getting Started with DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.
To be able to add names, you will need to upgrade. You can do this from your Upgrade page. Just answer the five questions, e.g. who you want to communicate with, if others can see your family tree, what surnames, locations, or topics interest you, etc, and click on the green box that says "Upgrade”.
Upgrading just means you will work on your ancestors to help us achieve our goal of joining all individual family trees into one global family tree.
I hope this helps! If you have any problems, let me know.
Take care
