Biography

Antonina Mangiameli (“Manciameli”) is a Corleone native resident, the daughter of Mercurio Mangiameli and Serafina Fruja (“Friia”), who married in 1770. She is named after her maternal grandmother.

Antonina marries Bernardo Gennusa, son of the late Biagio Gennusa and Maria Arcisa, on 26 February 1797.^[1]

Bernardo and Antonina have at least one child, Maria (c. 1799), named after her paternal grandmother.

Maria marries Gioachino Riina, a widower, on 13 February 1825. Her parents have died by this time.^[2]
