Rebecca Jane "Webby" Maness was born in 1786 in Moore, North Carolina [1][2][3], a possible daughter of Daniel Maness (abt.1763-bef.1850). Her mother was possibly Margaret Elizabeth Webb (abt.1765-).

She married James Pleasant Morgan in 1805. They had 11 children.

Rebeca Jane (Maness) Morgan and portions of her family resided at Moore, North Carolina, in 1850, 1860, and 1870 [4][5][6].

Rebecca Jane (Maness) Morgan died on November 20, 1865, in Moore, North Carolina.
