Biography

Francesco Mancuso, age 38 (b. 1817), agricola, living in via San Leoluca, Corleone, reports the birth of a child to Anna Listi, age 25 (b. 1830), on 13 October 1855 in their home. The child is a boy and is named Salvatore Mancuso.^[1]

Salvatore marries Giovanna Crapisi, daughter of Pietro Crapisi and Antonina Birtone, around 21 November 1879.^[2] Salvatore and Giovanna have at least one child, Francesco (1880).

Francesco is born 20 August 1880 in Corleone and baptized the next day. His godparents are Francesco Rizzotto and Giovanna Marsalsi, who are both unmarried.^[3]

Giovanna, a resident of via Borgognoni #30, dies at age 23 in December 1885 in Corleone. She is survived by her husband, Salvatore, and her father, and is predeceased by her mother.^[4]

Francesco marries Salvatrice di Miceli on 25 November 1905 in Corleone. His father has also passed away.^[5]
