Giovanna Crapisi, the daughter of Pietro Crapisi, a middle class townsman (borgese), and Antonina Birtone, is born on 1 February 1862 in her parents' home on via Borgognoni in Corleone.[1]
She is 17 when she marries Salvatore Mancuso, the son of Francesco Mancuso and Anna Listi, around November 1879.[2]
Salvatore and Giovanna have at least one child, Francesco (1880).
Francesco is born 20 August 1880 in Corleone and baptized the next day. His godparents are Francesco Rizzotto and Giovanna Marsalsi, who are both unmarried.[3]
Giovanna, a resident of via Borgognoni #30, dies at age 23 in December 1885 in Corleone. She is survived by her husband, Salvatore, and her father, and is predeceased by her mother.[4]
Francesco marries Salvatrice di Miceli on 25 November 1905 in Corleone. His father has also passed away.[5]
