Charles, son of Peter Lynn, was born 21 DEC 1776 • Mevagissey, Cornwall, Engalnd. His education Oxford / Wadham College where he got a BA. He was ordained as a deacon 09/03/1800 (Courtenay, Henry Reginald/Exeter 1797-1803). His details on being a priest are : 25/09/1803 (Fisher, John/Exeter 1803-1807). His appointment as a Priest was in his home town Mevagissey (09/03/1800 ).

On 5 SEP 1805 • Gorran,Cornwall,England, Charles married Harriet, daughter of Edward and Mary Cregoe of Gerrans, Cornwall, England.
