I was seeing if I could find an answer to your Unknown first partner here. Which facts here do you know from within your family, and which facts are found elsewhere? For instance, did you know that James and Honorah were her parents, or was that from finding them in certificates? Sorry if this is a little forward. I just saw the Unknown grandfather, and wondered if I would have any luck looking for an answer.

Thanks for your message and the information on my family. I would love love love it if you can find my long lost grandfather. Unfortunately the people who did know who he is are gone now and so it will pretty much depend on DNA results. Ive had my mum tested but on My Heritage and we found some close rels that we didn't know of - who seem to be also related to the lost grandparent but we so far have not been able to link the families together. I noticed that you are trying to link your family to the Isle of Man I will keep an eye out for your family. Cheers - if you would like any more information on my family just ask Maxine
Don't worry. Just remembered I could check it against her death.
Well. Definitely very difficult challenge. Couldn't find it. I've got one in my family as well. Morris-20373. We've proven that his father can't be. No way of finding who his real father is. But his step father is still listed, but checked off as non-biological. So you could connect your Cottier there as a non-biological father if you wished.
