In the Appendix, pages 267-8, to his book "The Lunt Family in America" T. S. Lunt corrects his misstated lineage error for the children of Samuel Lunt, Jr. and wife Mary (Berry) Lunt whose grandchildren are included this profile. Primary sources, mainly Cumberland County Deeds, support the soundness of his corrections.
The "Lunt Family in America" appendix information, showing his corrections, are not reflected in a significant number of online family tree's.

Hannah Lunt (John, Samuel, Samuel, Ensign Henry, Henry) was born about the year 1791, give or take, at Gray Township where her parents lived. The existence John Lunt, Sen. of Gray, Yeoman, and his children, possibly by Sarah Weeks, is established with certainty through the following Cumberland County [Miscellaneous categorized] Deed where John Lunt, Sen. and all his children are named during an official procedure whereby the four living siblings, John Lunt, Jun., Sarah Lunt, Hannah Lunt and Mary Lunt grant assignment of their power of attorney to their brother Joshua Lunt. Lunt-1040 and Lunt-1017 appear to represent the same person because: I accidently created the duplicate although she is connected to the correct Lunt lineage. This should be an easy merge. I'm still researching her mother Sarah Weeks which is why Sarah doesn't have a profile yet. The Weeks clan are even harder to straighten out than the Lunt's. Sincerely, Leigh Anne.
