James Robert Luney, son of Peter Luney and Martha Ann (Corbin) Luney, was born on 17 March 1883 at Adair County, Kentucky.[1]
He married Rena Ellis Hill, daughter of Ulysses Scott Hill and Louisa (Sexton) Hill,[1]
He was a farmer when he and Rena appeared on the census of 10 Jan. 1920 at Jenkins, Barry County, Missouri.[2]
James died on 1 Nov, 1949 at Flat Creek, Barry County, Missouri and was buried at Mineral Springs Cemetery, Mineral Spring, Barry County, Missouri. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and links to those of family members.[1]
