Richard and Mary Lundy were both natives of Pennsylvania, and came to Canada in 1798, settling in Whitchurch, where they spent the remainder of their lives. They had one son and two daughters:
Annie, m. Mordecai Widdifield, and settled in Uxbridge, County Ontario;
Susannah, m. Joseph Hilborn, and located in Western Ontario; and
Ebenezer.
The family were Quakers in religion, and they established this religion in the area into which they moved.
