Biography

Jane Look was born in Nantucket, Nantucket County, Massachusetts on December 24, 1680 to Thomas Look and Elizabeth Bunker. [1] In the records of the time Jane is referred to as Jane, Jean, and Joan.

Marriage to John Cottle

Jane married John Cottle about 1700. They had at least three children prior to John's death in 1705.

Hi Becky. I came across Look-334 which appears like it should be merged to here, Look-65 ... but ... things look complicated/messy. Look-334 has daughter West-4351, Abigail b.1752 (likely wrong year) where Jane's daughter Abigail is mentioned with birth year 1722 on this profile. West-4351 has children attached while the following FindAGrave record begins to imply Abigail did not have children https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/9371655 -I want to proceed with caution as both West-4351's descendants and Look-65's descendants list DNA Connections. How do you think we should proceed?
