Morgan, son of Edward Pryse & Anne, was born on 2 July 1820 and baptised on 3 July 1820 in Llangadog, Carmarthenshire, Wales.^[1]

Morgan married Georgiana Caroline Gwynne on 26 September 1843 in Llandingad, Carmarthenshire, Wales.^[2][3]

In the 1851 census Morgan (age 30), Military captain & j p, was the married head of household in Glansevin, Llangadock, Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, Wales.^[4]

In the 1861 census Morgan (age 40), Landed proprietor, was the widowed head of household in Glanswin, Llangadock, Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, Wales.^[5]
