Biography

Adélaïde Lepage was born and baptized on 10 Mar 1822 in Saint-Joachim parish in Châteauguay, Bas-Canada. She was the daughter of Louis Lepage, farmer, and his wife Angelique Gendron of this parish. Godparents at Adélaïde's baptism were Michel Allard and Theotiste Gendron. Adélaïde married Louis Faubert on 11 Nov 1844 in in Saint-Joachim parish in Châteauguay. There were six known children born into this marriage. Adélaïde died at age 74 on 22 Sep 1896; she was buried three days later on 25 Sep in Saint-Joachim parish cemetery.
