Maxime Leblanc was born on February 26, 1870 in Bouctouche, Kent, New Brunswick, Canada, son of Urbain Leblanc (1835–1887) and Elizabeth Richard (1848–1915).
Maxime (21) married Marie Boucher (19) (born on December 24, 1871 in Bouctouche; daughter of Michel Boucher and Genevieve Bastarache) on November 16, 1891 in Église Saint Jean Baptiste Bouctouche, Kent.[1] Their children were:
