Michel Boucher is a descendant of an Acadian

Michel Boucher, son of Hyppolite Boucher and Olive Martin, was born in Bouctouche, New Brunswick in 1843.^{[citation needed]} He married Genevieve Bastarache in Kent in 1864.^[1]

In 1871 they lived in St. Mary, Kent, and had three children and a sister living with them.^[5] By 1891 they were living in Wellington.^[6]

He died in 1895.^{[citation needed]}
