Francois Liboire LeBlanc was the son of Sylvain LeBlanc and Elisabeth Surette.[1]
He was born October 7, 1856[2], and was baptised October 18, 1856 at St. Michael's[2] in Tusket Wedge, Nova scotia.[3]
He was a fisherman by trade.[4]
He married Genevieve Adeline Bourque, the daughter of Francois Joseph Bourque and Anne Esther Babin, on January 25, 1881 at St. Michael's.[2]
The couple moved into the home he had built that same year at 2628 Hwy 334[4] in Tusket Wedge[3] where they raised their family of 11 children[2]:
Francois Liboire died July 23, 1914[2] in Wedgeport, Nova Scotia[4][3], and his funeral was held July 26, 1914 at St.Michael's[2] in Wedgeport.[3]
He was buried at St. Michael's Cemetery: Section C, Row 3, Marker 742.[13]
